"If there is among you a poor man of your brethren, within any of the gates in your land which the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not harden your heart nor shut your hand from the poor brother, but you shall open your hand wide to him and willingly lend him sufficient for his need, whatever his needs".   Deuteronomy 15 :7,8.

These lucky recipients recently received soccer balls to aid them in stimulation and therapy.  Check out these happy faces! 

A family in need

Hewan (below) is now 17 years old.  He looks young in these photos as his mom does not have any later ones.  He is mentally handicapped and in need of your help. He needs to be cared for.

Theda is a single mom without an income and living in a farm cottage with no geyser.  They rely on dam water for hygiene.  They have to walk 4km every few days to get drinking water. She has no income as she has to take care of him as she has been battling to find a school or a home who can help Hewan. 

They rely on farm produce which they are allowed to pick when available.

Their circumstances are not good and we appeal to all of you for assistance.  We are trying to find Hewan appropriate care which he deserves and we need YOUR help!!

You can help supply them with:

Donations, food, clothing, means to make an income presently from home until we can get help for Hewan, blankets and better accommodation.  

We would also welcome those of you to join us in a prayer circle for families struggling to survive.
