Coll Doll Chat

My name is Colleen hence my design label being "Coll Doll" and of course I am short. My daughters gave me this nickname many years ago when they all outgrew me so what better name could I choose for my label.

It is a privilege to be able to chat to you all and my fervent hope is that we can all become friends, exchange ideas and expertise in whatever field interests you.

I have been very interested most of my life in health related issues and it would be lovely to share some with you.

Knitting has given me great pleasure, calming me when I needed and designing the garment before making has fulfilled many a pleasant hour.

Flower arranging too is another of my interests whether big or small and a joy to see an arrangement come alive.

Beading is a much later achievement which satisfies a creative urge which hopefully will continue for a long time.

Please give me feedback via the feedback form or you can email me, I would love to chat with you.

I would so love to be able to assist the needy people by collecting all and every type of article, whether household, clothing, bed linen and food to be shared amongst deserving people whether adult or children either in institutions, churches, schools or wherever a GENUINE need arises.  These people will have to prove their worthiness for this service.

I would like to request assistance from whoever feels led to assist with articles of whatever nature they can.  In return, I give you my recipe for:

CANTON STEAK

1kg Rump or Fillet Steak

4 Tablespoons Soy Sauce*

3 teaspoons sugar *

4 teaspoons cornflour*

1/2 teaspoon salt*

1 1/2 Tablespoons Olive Oil*

Marinate steak overnight in 5 ingredients listed above with *. Reserve remainder marinade.

Fry meat in a little hot butter to desired doneness.

Heat remainder marinade and add 1 teaspoon sugar, 3 teaspoons cornflour, 3/4 cup water and 2 tablespoons soy sauce.  Cook in same pan steak was cooked in.

Serve with green peas, fresh carrots and rice with a tossed green salad.

ENJOY!
